MoPar Monday - (HWEP) Dodge Charger

Big shoutout to zeontestpilot for hooking me up with this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE from the Greenlight Muscle series. This would be my first classic Mopar from the brand, without the great community in LaLD and mutual trust when it comes to trades; this wouldn't have happened. Viva la LaLD!

The packaging from Greenlight did its job of protecting the car during its trip to Singapore and and this Rallye Red Charger was released no long after. It immediately strike me as the nicest looking charger I have in my collection, the version from Hot Wheels had its K-member too prominent from the front. Not with Greenlight, and I need to expand my Greenlight Mopar collection.

There's a problem with the hood not lining up with the cowl panel, perhaps it was prepped to tackle the constant heat and humidity in Singapore/Malaysia. (lol) The driver's side rear wheel is also different from all the other three wheels, some might call it a factory error, I call it character. This muscle car gets driven, not a garage queen.

HWEP has been the most fun way to obtain diecast cars that aren't easily available on my shores, and ZTP, I still have a couple of Tomica ready to trade. ;)
