LaLD Engine Week: Looking Back

In this forced induction segment of Engine Week, I decided to dig up this Kyosho 1:43 Ferrari F40 from the archive. Almost four years ago, I wrote my first Concours d’Modella and was navigating in this new world of diecast photography.

While I did not revisit this model with my camera, I found the old RAW image files and remaster some them - giving them a new lease of life. Funny to think I shot these without a light tent, something I’m glad I have today. I still hate to photograph black cars though, they all need a few extra steps every time.
