Hey folks, it’s a been a while since I posted, but after I picked up this new item at a Toy Fair last month, I had to take some shots to share...
Peruse my posts here on LaLD and you’ll see my obvious and undying love for the Chevrolet C3 Corvette Stingray - so of course when I spotted this package, there was no way I was going home without it...
An unpunched, near-mint in box Dinky Toys Corvette Stingray, circa 1976. There’s a little box damage and some crushing on the plastic, but the car itself is in great condition. I’ve been after one of these for a while (along with a “customized” version in red that I’m still seeking).
There are some great details - working pop-up headlights, engine compartment and opening doors...
...And the construction of it just feels good and solid!
All in all, I’m really pleased with snagging this one.
