Scale Fun With 1:1s

First up, a lovely little 1/43ish metal Mercury brand model of the Flavia Coupe that my uncle recently unearthed in some of my late grandpa's things. Its 1:1 twin has been in the family since '66.

Unfortunately one of the jeweled headlights has gone missing over the years, but still a great little period model, with opening doors, hood and trunk.

Both the 1:1 projects and their miniature cousins

A couple of the several 1:64 2002s I have with my '68 in the background. I've been hoarding all the HW '02s I can get my hands on because I want to keep a bunch in the car to hand out to kids once it's back on the road. A guy with a Ferrari 308 did that for me as a kid in the 80's with the Matchbox Pioneer liveried 308s and I think it's a wonderful way to foster young enthusiasts.

And lastly, a '66 Fairlane that I was happy to unearth from the depths of my collection yesterday when R32Rennsport was over, with my recently acquired daily driver '66 sedan in the background.
