Card Error?

After seeing other pics of the carded car, I noticed something odd on the cards of the 2 3.0s I picked up the other day:

This was a pic that Sharpspeed posted after he got his.

And this was the pic I posted when I found mine. Notice the difference?

For some reason, his has the “New for 2016" badge, while the two I found don't. Most I've seen online don't have it either. Is this the norm? Or is it an error that HW corrected?
