Presenting the second of my two recent purchases, an Ebbro Autozam AZ-1.
I think this is my first exclusively-JDM model. Every other car I have except the Rancho was sold in the USA at one point.
I picked this up for $55 on eBay ($40 for the car, $15 for shipping). Kinda expensive, but it was the cheapest I could find.
It’s a cute little car. Everything a Kei car should be.
It’s been on my wants list for a rather long time, so I’m pretty happy to finally have one.
I swear, if something like a kitten or puppy transformed into a car, this would be it.
It was a bit difficult to get the doors open (the joints aren’t very smooth, so a lot of cracking noises and panic ensues when you try to open the doors), but I eventually got them open.
More cars should have gullwings.
Interior is decent. Nothing to write home about, but it DOES have three pedals.
Come on in!
Just for reference, this is a truly tiny car, even for a 1/43rd. Here it is next to a normal-sized HW card.
