Truth be told, I only have three cars from the Land of the Rising Sun in my collection at present, so may I present for your gratification. Kyosho’s 1/18 Skyline 2000 GT-R.
Lush details and great paint finish is a given nowadays from Kyosho, so this one needs to be special for other reasons.
Engine detail is absolutely impecable, without question one of the best.
Interior is great too, with readable guages and that nice “look! the seatbelts and dangling around just like in the real car!” feeling that you get when you realize your money has been spent decently this time.
“OMG there’s a seatbelt hanging from the ceiling FOR THE DRIVER!!!”
ok. I’m going to be ok. lets look at that engine harness again...
I may have gotten a little bored one weekend a while back and swapped (temporarily) the Watanabe wheels with a set of Can Am staggered rims and some Goodyear slicks... looks menacing. no?
So my favorite detail. Well there is a sticker here on the drivers side for a GTR club. how cool and obscure is that?! love it! (flares aren’t bad either, though the AutoArt version has them over the front wheels too I believe)
How can you not love this face?
