Diecasts Of My Life - 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (MBX)

When I was a little guy, one of my favorite weekend activities was going with my dad to the local Ford dealership (OK technically Lincoln-Mercury) to look at cars. Sometimes we'd come home with something new, sometimes we wouldn't, but it was a fun bonding experience that we were fortunate to have. My dad worked a lot when I was growing up, so those little times on Saturday or Sunday that I was able to hang with him were important.

All the sales guys knew me at this point, so occasionally they would throw me something on the way out as thanks. This is one of them, a standard mainline Matchbox 1987 Ford Thunderbird... Turbo Coupe.

Rear tire doesn't typically have that stance, guess I just didn't push it in before taking the picture. Oh well!
