Hi folks, let me start by apologizing, I know I’ve already mentioned a bunch of these models in the past, but I only just got around to getting them out of their boxes last week! I hope you don’t mind me sharing a few pictures.
First of all here is the Ottomobile E500 limited in resin. I particularly like the crazy seat upholstery.
Here are a few Skylines, first off a modified Auto Art KGC10, followed by another Auto Art, this time the 1992 Bathurst 8-hour winning R32. Then there’s an Ottomobile R33 LM, a fantastically silly piece of ninenties excess. Follwed by a couple of black Nismos, an R33 and an R34 Z-Tune. These last two are not bad, but I think I made the wrong choice in getting them in black, it’s just a bit muted.
Where would a photodump of mine be without some McLarens? I finally unboxed my Auto Art Gran Turismo Edition F1 as well as my UT Gulf-liveried 1996 Le Mans contender, my selection of racing F1s is starting to look pretty good, however on closer inspection I seem to be well set up for cars from the 1996 and 1998 editions but have nothing from 1997, this must be rectified!
Last but not least, my CMC Targa Florio 250 GTO. I don’t have space for it, I’ve had to evict some Martini-liveried Porsches to ensure that it and its blue brother have enough space, but I don’t care, keeping something this incredible in a box is a crime.
Unfortunately I think that I’m all out of 1/18s for this year. Work is taking me to the United States for a six weeks in the near future, however I think this opens up a great opportunity to get back in to Hot Wheels!
