Big Bulli

I’m not a huge fan of Volkswagens. I like it. It’s just boring, cause they’re everywhere. So, well whatever.. Anyway, here is my first ever custom VW. As you can see here, it started out as a Kool Kombi. I wanted to make it as outrageous as possible. At the moment, I was just just inventing a way to make a flexible suspension setup, so I used this little van as a testbed. Because it’s too short, I had to make a custom chassis using styrene plate and paperclips. Lots of details went to this truck. And lots of scratchbuilt parts as well. Probably one of my most elaborate builds yet.
