A few days ago an interesting mail came. From the guys at Matchbox HQ. My Datsun 510's arrived. Well I’m not a big fan of the Datsun 510. But it’s a very special one because it’s the trophy for the Matchbox custom contest winners. And of course it came here along with the Nissan Junior I built for the JCCS show. I don’t need to tell you about the contest I’m sure you guys know about it.
I can’t believe this little guy has travelled halfway round the globe.....
First time I planned to make a dragster out of the Junior. But then the judges picked me because of my offroad truck. And so I made an offroad camper. Not too bad....
Also, a full artcars treatment.
And here’s my entry for the contest. Honestly, I didn’t expect to win. Too many badass builds from around the world.
