Pegwarmers can be fun!

I’ve always wanted to say that. As collectors I’m sure you’ve heard that word ‘pegwarmer’. Undesirable cars that spat out by collectors. Fantasy castings so outlandish, wildly shaped, some even not resemble cars. Some say they’re crap, or ugly. I despise that. I’d rather call it unique. Nothing crap about fantasy cars. Drawing cars isn’t easy. I’ve been doing that for a long time, and I’ve never find it easy. Let alone designing a new one from scratch.

Imagine the time and energy (not to mention design school money they’ve spent) the designers have spent making the designs. If you know what they’ve been through, then you wont say the ‘crap’word again.

With a little more effort, these pegwarmers can be fun. My mantra has always been, ‘Do what you can with what you have.’ So if you’re still moaning about not getting a Skyline, Japan Historic sets, or any other so-called collector’s items on the pegs , then stop.
