So a few hours ago Lamley group announced the winners of this year’s Matchbox custom contest. I missed the live stream because I didn’t think I was going to be chosen. Honestly I wasn’t very confident with myself 😄. Heavy contenders this year. And then there were literally thousands of notifications on my Instagram page. Okay, not thousands, maybe 50-60. So glad I’m chosen again.This is my entry for the contest. A Unimog exploring truck with a working suspension. This one is a special build for me, and has a lot of sentimental value. Just a few days before I finished it, sadly, I lost a dear friend of mine, Emile François. He was the one who taught me how to customize from the beginning . He helped me a lot since the day one and patiently guiding me like Yoda.
