This is what I’ve always wanted to do. Sharing one of my all-time favorite,Ken Block’s Hoonigan Mustang I did about two years ago. Now this is one of my early works. I couldn’t share it here because it’s no longer with me. So i have to ask the guy who bought it, Stephen Smythe , or if you prefer his Instagram handle, @steezy_subie_hw .
Ok,so here we go. It started life as a ‘65 Mustang Fastback. I chose this casting instead of the ‘65 Mustang Coupe HW made because it already has the stance I needed. Problem is, that fastback roof.
What I did was cutting the back half of the roof and then added another roof from a ‘66 Chevelle.
Done with the most difficult part.
Now the color. Because I wasn’t good with decals (and I still suck at it), the only choice I got was hand-paint everything.
For the final result I had to ask Stephen to take some photos of it. Enjoy!
