they pulled me back in. I’m talking about the mainline Hot Wheels and Matchbox. Ever since Matchbox has been shifting their focus on more generic and fantasy looking cars, I’ve began focusing on M2 and more recently Greenlight for their more realistic looking vintage cars and most importantly trucks. What disappoint me however was their inconsistent quality.
While checking on ebay last December I saw something that caught my eye. It’s the Willys 4x4 pickup and it so happened to be a Matchbox.
I’ve been a fan of the Willys Jeep and have collected a few of the larger 1/25 scales. I began searching for this in any stores that sells Matchbox but without success. I finally got it this month when one Tuesday evening I drop by at TRU and was surprise to see it hanging right there. Now I am a proud owner of this pickup. Hope you enjoy my first post.
