So it all started a couple of weeks ago in Walgreens while browsing on some Hot Wheels to see if there are any Redlines or Real Rider that I may fancy since I was able to find the Long Gone Redline in Walgreens. While none of the HW high end model struck my interest I came upon something interesting from the mainline.

As I was out of touch with mainline Hot Wheels for a while I was not aware of this model’s released in 2015. I was surprise I was able to find one in a store and not have to go thru a 3rd party seller as I immediately like the look of this 62 custom chevy which could probably be a combination of both color and the non distracting looking tampos.

So the next one are the Racing Champions mint.

These were found at the same Walmart but I did not purchase them at the same time. I was actually deciding whether to purchase the 60 impala or the 49 Buick. I finally decided on the impala due to the nice red color. I left the Buick there and a few days later saw a post by someone in a forum his collection of the same 2 cars and when I saw how the hood opens side ways I found this unique and decided to acquire it as well. Luckily it was still available. Gotten my 2nd chance again.

I went to Target on another day and acquired the only VW square back Hotwheels available.

I like VW but wasn’t too crazy about the tampos on this so might think about returning or possibly use as a trade. The last one is the Matchbox Tesla. I wasn’t a Tesla collector but the nice blue color convinced me that I need to find one. So one day off to another Walmart and while going towards the die cast I saw a lady maybe in early 40's browsing on some cars. I check the Hot wheels and it was almost empty. No real riders, Star trek or pop culture. went to the Matchbox area. Found the one and only Tesla on the 3rd from the front peg. Also saw a BMW police Livery but was not sure about it so left it there for now. I then notice the lady was still at the die cast with a few cars on her hands and when she went to the Matchbox section, saw her grabbed something and out of curiosity waited till she went to another die cast area and checked and can’t find the BMW anymore. That’s when I got to thinking that she could also be a collector too. Hmm…. I wonder.
