LaLD Car week: Thursday on the Thames- Routemaster BP Visco Static

Here is a classic 1/64 Routemaster made by Matchbox during the Lesney period. A staple on British and Hong Kong (a British colony) roads, the AEC Routemaster is a double-decker bus designed by London Transport and built by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and Park Royal Vehicles. The goal was to produce a vehicle that was lighter and easier to operate resulting in a 64 passengers capacity despite being three-quarters of a ton lighter than buses in the RT family, which seated 56.
