If you remember a few months ago, I came up with a story of 3 guys who loves restoring old abandoned and neglected cars. This is their second project.
After restoring a Ford Ranchero from a previous blog, Matt, Theodore and Boxster saw an old abandoned 41 Chevy and decided to rescue it as well. The owner was happy to give it away. Matt and Boxster decided to give it a thorough inspection.
Meanwhile Theodore rented a flat bed truck to bring back the pickup.
And now the project begins. First a look at the condition of the pickup.
Parts and body panels are slowly being disassembled.
After removing the rust, body parts were either restored or special ordered. After much sweat the restoration is starting to take shape.
Here the boys are proud of their accomplishment.
Celebrating with high five and a few bottles of Coke. Yay!
