In this series I will showcase DLM cars ranging within the 1/64 and smaller. Here is another Datsun TLV with my 31st model, the Datsun Bluebird Van Osaka police by Tomica.
As promise from my previous post of a stock Datsun 2 door 510 I will be featuring other Bluebird models in my collection.
As most of us in the States became aware of the Bluebird wagon is due to Mattel’s introduction of this casting in 2013 thru their Boulevard series. Created in customized version, this first edition was in Pale Turquoise without any racing tampos and with rubber tires.
Here Tomica came up with another stock Datsun Bluebird this time in Wagon (Van) shown in Osaka police livery.
As usual the detail on their TLV series is fantastic for this size.
For some reason the 510 series is becoming one of my favorite casting and have so far collected a few from different manufacturers including the one model released by Jada under their ‘For Sale’ series.
This is one of the models that I purchased from Japan Booster and does cost a pretty penny compare to other TLVs. The reason I believed has something to do with the fact that this is a Tomica Shop exclusive and the 510 wagon being high on the collectors list.
