Hot Sixty 4th: When you're not a pro...

you start with something simple. Welcome again to another DLM cars from 1/64 and smaller and sometimes larger. I see a lot of customizer showing off their wares so I decided to do one on my 64th post with a cobra, powered by Ford model kit.

Made by M2 I like the look of this ‘65 Ford Econoline model kit in black with the iconic cobra by Shelby. This kit includes 2 sets of wheels and tires, screw driver, instruction, auto-lift and the model itself. Of course I have a choice of removing the paint and repainting it with the color of my choice but that’s for another time as I like the color and the cobra art work. Below is the picture of the kit before and after it was assembled.

Unlike the original, the bumpers were removed on this one to make it less of a stock look.

The kit came with silver rims or stock wheels. I usually like stock but for a van that features a Cobra, this means power so installing the 5 spoke rims was a no brainer. I decided to paint it matte black but did like the outcome so applied clear coat gloss on it. Now I have a mean looking black van. Hope you enjoy.
