Welcome again to another DLM cars from 1/64 and smaller and sometimes larger. Another M2 kit for my 65th post with the legendary ‘55 Bel Air.

I’ve collected a few of the ‘55 Chevy Bel Air from M2, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Jada and even MotorMax. Most of my M2 ‘55 Chevys are stock and this is my first with the racing livery.

The kit comes with Auto-lift, 2 sets of wheels and tires, 2 sets of engine and the rear chassis even has a choice of installing a narrow or stock rear cover. Since the kit only comes with wide rear tires, it’s only logical that you will choose the narrow unless you want to use a different set of wheels.

The kit was fairly easy to assemble and the instruction was easy to follow as well.

The front bumper is slightly crooked and I tried to removed it but it’s more difficult than the Econoline kit that I did before. I would just imagine it as racing damage. There’s a big gap between the body and the door on the driver side.

As usual with M2 it has opening parts galore and the Good Year painted on the tire was a nice touch.
