Welcome again to another DLM cars from 1/64 and smaller and sometimes larger. On my 75th post are 2 models which compliments each other.
The first model is based on the first generation Ford Transit, or the Transit Mark I in the United Kingdom and was introduced in October 1965, taking over directly from the Thames 400E. The Transit was a departure from the European commercial vehicles of the day with its American-inspired styling—its broad track gave it a huge advantage in carrying capacity over comparable vehicles of the day.
The first generation lasted till 1978.
Simply indicated as #66 Ford Transit by Matchbox, this Superfast model was made between 1977 - 1981. The body is made of die cast and cargo is plastic. Matchbox has somehow made one side of the bed with open sideboard. The reason? This is where the 2nd model comes in.
Introducing #48 Sambron Jacklift made by Matchbox as well. This model was made between 1978 - 1994.
Unable to find any info about this except there was a website selling a reprinted operators manual for this.

For some reason Matchbox decided to use the box of the Ford transit to advertise this model as you can see below. Pretty slick advertising.
So let’s see what this baby can do.
Individually they have their own play value but together they make a great team so 5 out of 5 for both.
