Christmas Village '17: Big Pine Gas Station

It’s that time of year again when I will be putting up my Christmas village at home and this is my newest addition.

By the way these Lemax Christmas village can be used for your diorama as well.

This wasn’t an expected purchase when I dropped by at Michael’s since I was just curious on what they have on their latest Lemax Christmas village collection. I found this nice gasoline station irresistible and having a 50% and the next day 60%, I decided this is too good to pass.

Of course these village collections are not exact in their scales but I find this will fit on 1/43 models based on the width of the garage.

Here the hole is where you will place the light bulb that came with it.

Here is the side with some snow tires. They look kind of realistic.

One thing that is a disappointment is one of the pumps is leaning on the side. I’ve check another one and it was leaning backwards so definitely a problem from the factory.

Here it is when lighted. I’ll be using this as a backdrop to photograph some of the models that will be included in the village so stay tune.
