I was attracted to this BMW model the moment I saw it.
The BMW 3 Series is an entry-level luxury car manufactured since May 1975. It is the successor to the 02 Series.
The 3 series is composed of E21, E30, E36 and E46, each indicating a generation.
This model is based on the fourth generation E46.
This clearly is a non-stock model as this 1/24 represents the AC Schnitzer S3 version that was probably granted license to Jada.
Who are they?
A third party tuning company based in Aachen, Germany in which their core products compose of individual components such as chassis, custom exhaust systems and light-alloy wheels, as well as complete vehicles and performance tuning for petrol and diesel engines.
The front is beautifully crafted and the logo is clearly shown. The engine has good detail.
I like how Jada included individual colors to give the interior some realistic look.
This thing is loaded with working parts as can be seen on the previous pictures. The license plate seems to indicate someone from California ordered this from Germany.
Although I usually like to collect stock models, I was attracted to the workmanship of this customed model that it is now part of my collection.
