Would you call this a purple bus or a purple limo?
Here to me is a futuristic retro looking vehicle. Why retro? It does resemble a bit of the 50's vintage type 2 bus yet the slanted and wraparound windshield and front body gives it a futuristic look. I think it even resembles a bit of a locomotive.
The casting is the 5TH ISSUE KUSTOMCITY® EVO SS DRAG BUS™. Here is one of my shiniest looking model. With plated chrome body, they were able to achieve a mirror finish and naming the series “THE OVER-CHROME SERIES”.
This casting was designed by David Chang and comes with several colors. I chose the KANDY PURPLE OVER SILVER PLATED CHROME color which gives me the opportunity to showcase it in car week.
This 1/64 model features VUM CHROME 5 SPOKE RIMS, METAL BODY AND CHASSIS AND RUBBER REDLINE STRIPE TIRES.
