LaLD Engine Week 2018: Car with the Transparent Engine cover

This may not be the most exotic car but this baby isn’t shy showing off it’s engine.

This is a vintage battery operated Volkswagen tin toy by Bandai a Japanese company. Japan became a tin toy manufacturing force after the war.

No only does the engine have actual moving parts when powered on,

it even lights up.

I estimate this to be around 1/11 scale.

The paint on this 4 cylinder may not be shiny anymore and there are signs of rust and fading on the chrome surface of the hubcaps but the body is still in good shape.

Also comes with a driver.
