This is a vintage battery operated Volkswagen tin toy by Bandai a Japanese company. Japan became a tin toy manufacturing force after the war.

I estimate this to be around 1/11 scale.

The paint on this 4 cylinder may not be shiny anymore and there are signs of rust and fading on the chrome surface of the hubcaps but the body is still in good shape.
