Take this BMW E46 M3 for example. At first glance it could be a brand that cost a pretty penny.

But then you realized this model looks familiar and may have actually seen it in a store.

Then it hits you that you are looking at a Jada 1/24 customized BMW and it evokes incorrect scale size and non-proportion or slightly cartoonish body. I myself am not a big fan of Jada’s customized casting as I lean more towards stock but something about this casting attractive me to it.

In fact, silver color models is not my first choice either but the style of the chrome wheels combine with silver paint looks just right for this model.

With features including opening hood, trunk, doors and pretty decent detail on the dash and seats not to forget separate head and tail lights, this for me became one of my favorite BMW collection.
