Now back to our regularly scheduled sneak peak blog.
Like I previously mentioned, a lot of goodies on my 2nd package that arrived from Japan. So the 3rd one is the Tomica LV-155 b Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV released on January 2016.
The Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce (also known as 1750 GTV) entered production in late 1967. While there is some similarity with the Hot Wheels Alfa Romeo, these are 2 different models.
As you can see there is a difference between the headlights. The Hot Wheels have 2 and the Tomica have 4. The Hot Wheels is an Alfa Romero Giulia Sprint GTA which the ‘A’ stood for “Alleggerita”, Italian for “lightened” and was made between 1965 - 1969. Also the Hot Wheels model is slightly bigger and the actual car was produced earlier so the Tomica could be considered the little bambino.
Since I am a fan of the vintage Alfa Romeo I decided to include this in my order and since it has been released for quite some time I felt if I don’t order it soon, it won’t be long before this ran out of stock (as I check the update on Amiami, they don’t have this anymore).
