So this is part 2 of my hunt. Remember the 2 Datsun 510 of Tokyo Torque that I found in Hobby Lobby and on that same day also went to Target and Walmart but did not find any of the Hot Wheels Car Culture? Well the next day after running an errand that afternoon I somehow have a gut feeling that I needed to drop by Target again even though not expecting to find anything at all. Well....
What a difference a day make as I was surprise the pegs were restock with Shop Trucks, 50th Favorites and pop culture Justice League. While Justice League set is still completely in stock, the only thing left on the Shop truck and the 50th Favorites are a number of Econoline pickups. Must have been picked clean that morning. As the saying goes, so near yet so far. I was about to leave but then my eyes kind of shifted to the side and saw the Car Culture Team Transport hanging on the pegs as well. Oh man talk about unexpected finds. Although not complete, it still have 2 of the Porsche with VW and surprise, surprise, the one most people predict will be hard to find, the ‘69 Nissan Skyline with Carry on. The GReddy was missing but I was actually interested in these two so quite happy to have found them.
Anyone finding these Team Transport lately?
