Nope it’s not about the Car Culture but in my next travelogue, I will be showing you food and cars, cars and more cars while on vacation overseas in June. First check out what I saw in a shoe store.
It’s a drawer full of shoes.
The gas cap has the store name called ‘Pull & Bear’. Unusual name for a shoe store.
These may not be cars but the apparel will appeal to some.
Ok next I dropped by a small Toy Kingdom store.
1/24 cars Motor Max and Bburago.
First time I’ve seen this brand called Teama with their Haulers and other generic brand.
More Teama branded cars. The scale seems to fit the O scale train sets.
The price on this 1/18 scale race car is cheaper than a Tomica Premium. Say what? Yup probably another generic China brand car. Here’s the thing. It’s pretty light so it is probably made of plastic but looks more like a model instead of a toy and comes with some racing accessories.
And of course a nice small selection of Tomicas.
Ok let’s take a break for some food.
Noodles and Xiao Long Bao, also called a “soup dumpling” because the bun are filled with hot soup and place on top of a bamboo steaming basket from Din Tai Fung, a Michelin awarded restaurant, not the tire brand, ok.
Now on to the next toy store. This is a much bigger Toy Kingdom store in a bigger mall.
Pegs full of Hot Wheels pop culture.
They even have the Honda series before we did.
Here’s a closer look.
Here’s the Zamac series.
How about something to make you hungry again?
Hot Wheels Lunch boxes. But these are not your typical lunch box.
It’s to pack your collections.
Now what then shall we have for dinner?
How about a Korean fast food?
That’s not all. More to come soon.
