During WW2, while the allies were pushing forward to Germany, the German forces devised a plan to launch an offensive to split the armies of the allies by seizing roadways through eastern Belgium to reach the harbour at Antwerp before the Allies could regroup and bring in their air power. In order to reach their goal they have to pass thru the Belgian town of Bastogne which was held by the Americans at that time. The siege started from December 20 -27 1944.

You can also display with the jeep flip on the side as if it was hit by a mortar.

If you like to display your collection with a diorama setting this is a good set to get.
