Welcome to Hot Sixty 4th in which I show off my DLM 1/64 and smaller and sometimes larger collections. On my 219th post is my ever growing Japanese police car collection with the addition of my favorite Land Cruiser casting.
This was an unexpected find as I never knew this casting existed till I was browsing ebay and stumbled upon it.
If you are wondering if this is a recent or an old release by Tomica under their TLV, the answer is no. It was our very own Round 2 branded Johnny Lightning which is probably not a surprise to most of you after getting a closer look at the model itself. This is another Mijo Exclusives and is limited to 3600.
The only flaw to this is it’s LHD instead of RHD which is the norm in Japan. Being a Mijo exclusive carries a higher price tag but is still a bargain compare to the price of TLV and even without separate headlights the detail is pretty good and even includes opening hood.
