It’s been a while since my last post as I was on vacation and not up to date with LaLD as my trusty old ipad is not able to update on OS anymore and therefore unable to be compatible with this website. So before I post whatever I was able to acquire, my 240th post is about what could have been my worst nightmare.
So before my vacation I placed an order for these 2 castings on ebay as I was concern that the Tarmac Works RWB would be out of stock soon as my other vendor does not have it anymore. I also placed a mail hold at the USPS website so I was confident that should I leave before the package arrived it would be on hold in the post office.
A few days after I arrived at my destination I logged in on ebay to check status of the shipping. To my shocked it indicated that it was delivered and left on the front door. I checked my mail hold date and it was delivered exactly on the first day that the mail should have been on hold. Since I was overseas at that time I’m concern that the package would not be there anymore when I get back.
When I finally arrived back the first thing after getting settled is to check for the package. I notice that there was a USPS plastic container with accumulated mail and to make matter worst the mails should not have been delivered till tomorrow and the package was not in it. It was actually placed on a different area and when I picked it up it felt a little wet underneath which made me think that it might have sip inside and could have destroyed the original packaging. I finally opened it and they were dry most likely protected by the peanuts inside. What I concluded was that the mailman ignored the mail hold and continued to deliver the mail and since the mail box finally was full decided to put the rest in the USPS container.
So now lets look at the goodies. First off is the Tarmac Works RWB 930.
A pretty realistic looking Porsche and it comes with a certified number inside.
Next is the INNO 64 Honda Civic SiR EG9.
This is my first INNO and the Honda Civic looks realistic. Oh look, the Honda also comes with extra set of wheels and stickers for you to sort of customized. I have not taken them off from base so am not sure if both of their wheels do turn.
Over all both are nice and realistic looking and would recommend them.
