So I went to grab a coffee with my cousin, and afterwards I decided to stop in at Hobby Lobby to see if they had any new or clearanced 1/24 kits. There wasn’t much of interest, so I wandered over the the 1/64s just to see what was up. Immediately I saw this:
Amazingly cool. Boss 429 with four sets of wheels and tires? First I took a picture just to show you guys later incase it was of interest to anybody, since y’all are always doing wheel swaps. Then I picked it up and thought ‘you know what? I’m buying this!’
Then I saw this:
And the deed was done. I was collecting 1/64s. To limit myself, I’ve decided to stick with just Ford products for now...which thankfully allowed me to buy this at the nearby TRU:
A police ‘67 Bronco. It was simply the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, so I couldn’t possibly leave it.
So here we are. I'm collecting 1/64s now. May God have mercy on my soul (and wallet).
