Ok, sorry for the triple post but I left a while between them! Wake up!!
I finally went to a local antique shop to check for die casts, found a few, left some behind that I’m thinking maybe I have to go back for. I took some photos of the stuff I left, some carded HW from the ‘80’s and a couple of strange pieces. Please let me know if I should go back and grab anything. She wasn’t into haggling much as most is on consignment for others. The cars in these photos are all 50 cents each. All in a bad way mostly and nothing special, I think. Just grabbed them as most are older or strange.

I think this is made by RealToy, it’s labeled as a Chevrolet Racer probably for copyright reasons.

HotWheels 959, possibly stolen, repainted and recovered. Will be a future base for a resto-mod.
The section of the body below the wing is a separate cast to achieve the gap between the wing and body, haven’t seen it done this way before.
Majorette 911 Turbo. As its looking a bit Mad Max I will continue the theme but tidy it up....a lot.
This one was chewed by a dog and the rear window is crushed but not cracked! Another resto mod contender.

This is a strange one, didn’t notice in the shop due to poor lighting,(good tactic grandma) it has a pencil sharpener built in to it!

What the heck is this?! I picked it up on a second hunt through the basket. A strange HW cartoon AC Cobra! Yikes! No words...
I don’t get it? Anyhow...
And a HW airship, the base has a date of 1991 so it’s been around a while but I have no idea what it’s purpose is? The tiny black crew compartment on the base is the only die cast component of it.
The tail fins rotate to swap between the HW logo or this motif.
There’s two thrusters but they are just flat with no details other than the outline you see here.

Ok, these are what I left behind due to budget constraints. If there’s anything I should get let me know, if it’s a rare thing and you want it I can get it and ship it but we will have to work out the details, I will not add any thing to the cost, I just can’t afford to be out of pocket. So I’ll list the prices under the picture.
All of these are $25 AUD each(over priced?), all looked mint and I didn’t notice until a looked at the photo but the Firebird Funny car has a lift up body like the Hot Chocolate Drag Beetle.
Each of these is $30AUD, One is no longer for sale *WINK WINK. Take a guess which one if you like! I’ll be doing a post on it later. (Scale is 1:43)
