MBX 'Rock Shocker' & '4x4'...Really? 4x4?

Obviously the dude who names the MBX casts wanted to go home early the day this off roader came across his desk. I think it’s something to do with JEEP and lawyers actually. Either way this is not a bad cast with some fine details on it but it’s the Rock Shocker that is my favourite of these two. It’s based on a Tacoma which is not a vehicle sold in Australia, I have seen one here on the road but it looked like a test mule or similar as it was a LHD vehicle. Possibly here for ARB to measure for accessories, ARB are not that far from where I live.

I took some quick shots outdoors for an earlier Hour Rule and now have a little time for some close ups, indoors this time as its cold and dark out now.

Both of these are from Sonzilla’s collection. The Rock Shocker is from a 5 set of off road vehicles with a dinosaur theme, one of the vehicles is a helicopter.

Rear mounted radiator with twin thermo fans. I want to get one of these myself and customise it a little, it needs slightly bigger wheels to start with.

Both front gaurds are missing from the cast, who needs that stuff off road? No panel damage can occur if there’s no panel!

The long travel coil-over shocks are visible just behind the cab and I think that’s the fuel cell at the very rear.

Good, you made it out of that text loop. Articulation! On the rear at least, no suspension on the front.

The line of the edge of the bonnet where the gaurd is missing is nice and crisp, as it should be.
