My wife came up and told me “You got a package in the post”, and as there was a machine running I couldn’t hear her correctly so I instantly thought too myself “Woohoo! It’s on!” Then she handed me this package and I realised she said “post” and not “pants”. I’m not ashamed too say I was still excited, although in a much different way. This box is my first iHWEP and is from Blue2010SRT, not bad as he posted it about two weeks ago. THANKS MR BLUE!!
BEHOLD! Snoopy in all his glory and an awesome Silverado! For some reason throughout my life I tend to pre-emptively purchase items that are due to be gifted to me! This is another of these occasions as just this past weekend I picked up the same Silverado (because it’s awesome) and have already DLM’d it in the stop motion post on Saturday. I’ll leave this one on the card as I’ll damage the one I have now at some point, I’ll have a fresh spare that way! Cards aren’t always evil I suppose...

Believe it or not this cast is actually based on the airplane known as the ‘Sopwith Camel’! Sure it kind of resembles a dog house mounted on a chassis powered by a supercharged V8 engine, I can see that, the evidence of the Camel connection is contained in the video below. As Blue2010SRT mentioned in his post (link below) Snoopy would battle the Red Baron in his dreams while sleeping on the roof of his dog house. As it was a WW1 based dream and the Baron was in a Fokker Triplane naturally Snoopy was in a Sopwith Camel. This is not the song that Blue2010 linked in his post but a clip from the animated Peanuts cartoon.
