Here’s some photos of the inaugural ‘American Iron’ car show held on the grounds at ‘Plywood’. Luckily the event could be held indoors as its freezing outside and has been raining on and off all day. That fact, and the fact that fireworks are illegal in my home state here in Australia has forced the cancellation of the planned Fireworks extravaganza show this evening. On that topic, Can anyone post a video or pics of a cast with Fireworks involved? Keep it safe and if you are not allowed to handle them find someone that can! No injuries please!!
Ok, I went looking for appropriate tunes and found this gem. It is the story behind the meaning of the lyrics to the U.S. national anthem, although I have lived my entire life under a rock in Australia I have heard the Star Spangled Banner many times but never knew it’s meaning. This explains it very beautifully. I hope this isn’t an offensive story to anyone other than the British, they have a stiff upper lip and should be able to handle it ok. Hey they still have aUS..pip pip.
