Here’s a nice little cast from Welly but with disgusting wheels and the colour isn’t my favourite. Shame as it’s pretty well done in all other areas. So why not try a quick wheel swap?

Maybe the mirror is a touch big but this is a AUD $1!!! cast!

The top of the whale tail is a separate plastic part and looks and fits well.
Look at the overhang on the rear arch! Yuck!
Welly, that didn’t take long, some kind of record for me. I’d already decided to try a wheel swap before the DLM moment. Less than 3 mins out of the pack and a drill was removing metal from the rivets.
Some details for those that care, I do.
Ok, some MBX wheels work, this is actually reassembled and able to roll. Rolls much better as well.
Now those rear gaurds look better, more MEAT!

Unfortunately this is another mock up in that the wheels are just held by my trusty mock up partner, Blu Tac. For looking at purposes it works.
