Sorry, that was a bad one. Luckily the casts in this post aren’t bad ones, in fact they are awesome! This parcel has taken forever to arrive but it was well worth the wait. For the last week and a half I’ve called the local post office to check if it was in. I may have missed one day maybe two at most. Today I called and finally the answer was yes, I think I hurt her ear with my high pitched call of ‘YIPPPEEE!’, she didn’t seem as excited as I was.

This is shop-teachers part of our recent iHWEP, he posted his parcel from me on LaLD back on Tuesday. A while back he had a post on here with a couple of nice UTES!! that I liked the look of. A deal was struck and diecast started flying across the planet shortly afterwards. Some kind of delay was experienced by my parcel and after extensive forensic testing in the TFH laboratory no listening or tracking devices have been located. The source of the delay may well have been legitimate postal type issues and not government intervention, I’ll never know for sure. But I digress. On with the program.

Most know these casts I’m sure but from left to right we have the Friday night lights Silverado, Close Encounters F-250 and a RAOK in the form of a Dodge Ram! I do believe this is my first Ram cast, cool! I’m not sure how old it is but it’s in awesome condition. The casting has a date of 1994 on it, I know that’s not always a build date indicator so hopefully someone can tell me.

The details on this and the F-250 are superb, such nice tampos with the badges looking so crisp.

It’s a little hard to see but it even has headlights tampos! The orange rope looks great and the ladder on the rack on this side has had the silver applied to it where it’s visible through the sides of the racking. Good stuff HW!

Again with the crisp detailed tampos. Ladder isn’t removable but looks like it could be. So nicely done.

Only strange thing about it is the slicks, strange but I like it. Maybe the Dept of Water & Power ran the tyres until the tread was gone to save the maintenance budget?

The Dodge Ram, I haven’t seen this cast before so it’s great to get another different UTE!! for the collection. I was having a good close look at this cast and noticed the canopy or ‘bed topper’(?) is able to be removed, so that’s what I did. I’ve clipped it back on so its not lost. I usually like my UTES!! naked so left it off for some photos but I don't have a UTE!! with a canopy so it's cool!

It’s in spectacular condition! The chrome on the wheels look new.

The canopy has three points of attachment with the front, just behind the cab, having a tab the slips into a slot the looks like a high mount 3rd brake light, to me it does anyway.

The rear has two clips that hold it to the tray.
