Mad Manga: An Accidental Custom

I didn’t mean to do this, it just slipped out. This is an error cast that was complete but had missed the riveting stage. It was the subject of one of my early posts that some here may recall. I saved it from the bin after my wife bought it for Sonzilla. She noticed it was ‘broken’ once DLM’d. When I was ready to paint the UTE!! the first time I used the Mad Manga as a test run. The results were fantastic of course, as far as smoothness of the finish, because I don’t care about this cast. The UTE!! didn’t come out so well unfortunately. No more testing for me.

I found all the bits and reassembled the Mad Manga with some over size wheels, they fit in the flares so well they can’t even rotate, is that hipster? I’ve no idea.

Here’s what the rivets look like before we usually see them. Not that different really.

Ok, that’s it. It’s not a cast I like, sorry to the designer, I guess I don’t fit into the demographic it’s aimed at anyway.

Thanks for looking.
