Some of you may have caught a previous hour rule post featuring a bunch of discarded parts assembled together to resemble a vehicle. If not it’s linked below. I liked the look of it and a few commented that I should build it, at least 13 and wanclick were most enthusiastic about it. So here it is.
It’s now able to roll and I’m kind of happy with how it’s looking. While waiting for things to happen at work I spent little two minute grabs here and there and cobbled up some axles. Then used some scrap plastic to connect them to the inside of an Astro van. Front wheels are left over from the hot rodded 2CV, rears are off a HW Hot Tamales ‘Long Gone’ truck.
I may add more things to this. I have an idea for a flip up bodied drag type car using another left over cast. May also just leave it as is

Drop axles, love ‘em!
Ground clearence, only just.
To hold the axles in the plastic pieces I heated the wire and pressed it into the surface. Held very well. Just needs to be tidied up a bit now I see the pictures.
