Today I made it out to some bigger shops and found a few casts I thought I’d never see on the pegs. Most exciting was the site of an untouched MBX case! Looks like someone was in a hurry to leave and just removed the top of the carton and placed it on the shelf. I thought for sure I’d find some FJ40 Land Cruiser casts but there were none. Ended up with nothing from it. All the ones I’d want I’ve already got and I have extras of the good ones for trade. Plenty of them at my local shops anyway.
So here’s what I got from other places. I’ve got the Meyers Manx Buggy already DLM’d and wanted to find another to put away for Sonzilla. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 was an eye catcher with its blue on black paint scheme, the iridescent blue rims just set off the whole package. Falken Mustang!
Lancia Stratos!!!! I did a double take when I saw this, it’s awesome.

And this is cool! Not sure if I’ve seen the movie or not but if I did it obviously wasn’t memorable. The Belvedere GTX is just so cool. I thought the top was a separate plastic piece at first but it appears to be the cast painted matte black. Awesome! The tiny Goodyear script on the sidewalls is very cool. I’ll DLM these in the next day or two and try and get some better pictures.
