French Friday: Avant Garde, a French Fantasy

This was a cast I picked up a couple of weeks back in my first mystery bag purchase. Turns out its inspired by Frenchness so as I’m short on French fodder for French Friday posts I’ll go with this.

After liberating it from it’s packet I had no idea what to make of it. The name ‘Avant Garde’ initially made me think it was an Avante concept car for some reason but after a good look I noticed faint hints of Citreon DS about it, mainly in the rear body shape and roof in some ways. I searched and found some limited info to back up my theory of the French connection.

I don’t usually care for fantasy casts but this looks kind of cool in a way. Anyhow I’ll leave you with a few more pictures. Happy French Friday!
