USA vs Australia, a Coupe comparison.
While I had my ‘studio’* still set up and working well I thought I’d take the opportunity to get some more shots. This time with a couple of of Ford coupes. The green ‘72 Grand Torino and the purple ‘73 Falcon GT351. For those that don’t know both casts are from Hot Wheels.
I thought these two looked more similar from memory but seeing them together I’m not so sure. There’s a bit of common design language I suppose but, and I may be biased here, I think the aussie one looks the better of the pair. Maybe that’s because it’s that’s the shape I’ve grown up with but I just like its lines better.
Plus the Road Warrior never drove a Torino...
I think the Falcon has a cleaner looking front than the Torino.
After doing the wheel swap on the Grand Torino I think the Falcon needs some new rubber now.
Both rear ends look good to me.
That’s it for this set. I took some other pictures with this set up that I’ll post later on.
Thanks for looking.
