Another of the HW flames series. This one has taught me a lesson. Always check the cast carefully before buying! Still learning that even though you buy a ‘brand new car’ you are not guaranteed it will be in good condition. :(
I should have noticed the scratched flame tampos and put it back. I totally missed those, in fact it wasn’t until I looked at the pictures I noticed the issues on this cast. If you look closely at the roof on the drivers side you can just make out a slight dip in the roof line.
I like the green, flames not so much. I’ve lost any enthusiasm for this particular cast now anyway seeing it’s defects. I’ll either do a custom with it or give it to Sonzilla to destroy play with.
Next time I’m hunting I’ll take a few seconds longer and study the cast more carefully.
