Holiday post

Christmas holiday post. It’s not often I get away from my mountain hide out but this year a vacation was arranged by my lovely wife. The whole family was flown up north to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. It’s been good but I’ve been so busy I’ve not had much of a chance to diecast. Finally today I was able to remedy the situation. Found a cheap Kinsmart ‘55 Chevy Nomad and some not so cheap SIKU casts. I’m posting this from my phone sitting at a picnic table in the dark by the beach while my battery slowly dies. I’ll do a proper post once I get home but for now these shots will have to do.

I didn’t notice the rear tyre had partially come off the rim when taking the shots (quickly) so if you can just ignore that please. Also the long board looks a little big but it’s the holidays so I’m not focusing on that fact.

I passed over this van recently as it comes with a convertible ‘new’ Beetle. The van is a much better match for this Traction Avant from SIKU I feel so I paired them up for some beach shots.

Ok, battery percentage anxiety has kicked in (6%) so I’m done!

Thanks for looking!
