MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
Hope that your Christmas has been/will be great and all your diecast dreams become reality. Last night I returned from a holiday with the family and can finally start and catch up with the happenings around LaLD. I had very little time while away as we were flat out visiting theme parks and beaches and other tourist type stuff. By the time we were back at the resort I we just crashed for the night. I’m looking forward to some rest now!
While away I did find and purchase more SIKU casts than I really should have. I don’t regret it. More than half are for Sonzilla anyway. Oh and it also happens to be Sonzilla’s birthday today! Yes today of all days the poor little fella. He scored some cool casts that hopefully I’ll get pictures of before patina starts occurring.
So our Christmas Day is pretty much done now. Here’s a couple of casts that were given to me by my lovely little princess daughter. She picked them out while out shopping with my wife. The ‘63 Corvette in 1:64 is from bburago and looks to be a resto mod style. As its screwed together I’ll try some Real Riders on it soon. The Kombi isn’t diecast but some kind of molded resin. It’s pretty small and very cute.
