So begins another chapter in the Traveling Torchbug’s epic world wide tour. Today TTB found himself in Australia once released from his cardboard box and plastic air pillows.

Barry Baja and friend were curious as to the contents of this box, perhaps VW Bug’s give off some kind of scent that humans can’t detect? We’ll never know for sure until science clears it up but I digress. They also handily obscure certain details to protect the lives of the innocent.
The contents. Some kind of document holder and a very securely wrapped world famous celebrity diecast beetle! The importance of this is slowly sinking now he’s actually here!
The document holder turns out to be full of all kinds of small items that obviously TTB found along his travels and wants to keep with him (and I didn’t photograph). Wonder what he will add from this leg of his journey?
Once free of the pillows he needed a bit of a stretch.
Barry officially meets TTB. If bumper bars are the cars mouth then it’s safe to say that TTB is happy to see a relative but Barry looks a little grumpy that there’s a celebrity in town.
Probably a good time to separate them. I took TTB on a quick tour of my workshop. Here he’s checking out the bed on the CNC router.

I could hear it was raining outside so being a summers day I thought there should be a good chance of a rainbow. I sometimes take shots of them for my daughter if she’s not home to see it.
While trying to get a shot TTB photo bombed the picture, TWICE!
