A Clutch of Hoons?

Hmmm...or is it a herd? Maybe just gathering? Either way here’s some Japanese performance cars from Welly. Only good things can come of this. Yeah I know, these are modern cars and I don’t collect modern cars. Well not usually but there are always exceptions to the rule. If it ORATs of course I’m into it. If it’s AWD I’m into it as well but one of the main things I look for in a cast is how faithful it is too the 1:1 it’s modelled on. These little casts from Welly just keep getting better, check these out and see if you disagree.

Scale listed at 1:60-64, no joke. Well I suppose at least they give you a range...

So here we have a Nissan 350z, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, Subaru WRX STI and

Honda Integra R. In my opinion I think these are very nicely done.

I initially thought the kink in the body kit along the sill on the Integra was a bad cast but on closer inspection it’s actually an exact copy of the 1:1, nice work Mr Welly designer.

I will get individual close up shots of these. The WRX in particular has very nice tampo detail but all have front and rear tampos. All this and only $1 AUD!! Nice work Welly.
